Financial OpportunitiesFinancial support through OSU or the ISE department is available through a competitive selection process and is based on department requirements, student background and interest areas. It is not based on financial need. Graduate fellowships are administered through the Graduate School. The department administers teaching, research and administrative assistantships as well as endowed and sponsored fellowships. All teaching and administrative assistants must pass the University's spoken English test before they will be considered for a position. Those students obtaining assistantships and fellowships receive a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Financial aid is generally available only to those starting Autumn quarter. Deadline if applying for University Fellowships: U.S. Students - January 15; International Students - November 30. All other support for both U.S students and international students - January 15.
